Sensory walks have been shown to help students self regulate emotions and improve focus. Several of the special education teachers at my school are looking to create one for our students but cannot afford the out of pocket costs. Please help our desires to come true and provide our special education students with this pathway! Your help will go a long way to helping students who, otherwise, tend to get looked over in the world outside of school. The materials will go to create the walk and activities needed. It will be a one time cost as we are planning on waxing over top the pathway to prevent it from being destroyed.
