  • Alternative Seating in 5th Grade Math and Science

    Funded Jun 30, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness to support our students. The items that we will receive are going to make seating fun and engaging for our students to excel academically. The tables will also allow for solving math problems right on the desks with dry erase markers. I am extremely happy and grateful for all that you have done and can’t wait to show you how we use the items this upcoming year!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Harris

  • Rolling out the Red Carpet for Student Success!

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

On behalf of my 5th graders and myself you made our initial year of the pandemic less hectic, I would love to thank you for donating to our school. We are very thankful for you for providing resources and supplies to our class to help us be successful that year.

We were able to send students home for virtual school with the supplies they needed to do class work remotely. With the short supplies available in the stores without your help our students wouldn't of had pencils , erasers, and coloring tools to complete assignments at home.

The following school year we were able to put the resources to go use to make sure students did not share supplies for sanitation purposes. Thank you so much for your continued support of our students.”

    With gratitude,

  • Achieving Mastery & Excellence With SEL!

    Funded Oct 1, 2021

On behalf of my 5th graders and myself this school year, I would love to thank you for donating to our school. We are very thankful for you for providing resources and supplies to our class to help us be successful this school year.

As a result of your donations our students have been able to receive accommodations with headphones to hear oral administration on assignments and assessments. Our students have been able to have an interactive intervention in the 5th grade hallways every week that has allowed them to collaborate with one another.

As well our students showed tremendous growth over last years district test and STAAR results. Sixty-one percent of students showed 5-35% increases in math. Thank you again for supporting our students this has been a great deal. We are currently gearing up for project based learning and digging into more small group interventions so students can master the STAAR test.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Harris

All of my students come in with the desire to learn. However, with many constraints in their lives, they often are unprepared. My students often struggle with learning so providing tools to do hands-on activities by using dry erase boards. Place value chips will help my students to visually see concepts by providing hands-on experience. Having supplies like pencils, erasers, highlighters, color pencils, and glue sticks will take the thinking out what they can’t bring from “home”. Having these essential tools available to my students daily is the ultimate goal in my classroom. A classroom where students can just come in and learn. Where the focus moves away from not having supplies, we can focus on student success and building great leaders in our community!
