Snacks for our Scholars
Funded Sep 12, 2023I want to take this opportunity to thank you for funding our classroom. This project reached all of my mathematicians. They were so happy to see that in my class, they were equipped to be successful. Students were here past 4:00 PM to stay for afterschool tutoring and they were so happy to see they had snacks to munch on as they worked. They even worked a bit harder. The snacks were a huge encouragement to attend tutoring. I'm so grateful for all your contributions. My students are set up for success due to your wonderful contributions.”

Essentials for Class!
Funded Aug 3, 2022I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your generosity. I'm truly grateful that my students get these materials due to your tremendous support. My students were so relieved to hear that they did not need to buy a thing for our class. Each unit, they receive an interactive notebook in which they apply their thinking, create questions, and learn the content through discovery and summaries. They were ecstatic to see this notebook and how it helps them learn. We have worked on one pagers in class, projects, and the all important assessments due to your contributions. With that, I say, Thank you so very much! This truly means a lot to us.”

Funded Oct 26, 2019I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for you amazing generosity. It is with the help of you all that my students receive the support, and instructional materials they need to be successful not only in high school but in their lives. Each one of the materials you have provided us with has been in use since the day it was received. Paper was used to print out individual interactive notebooks for students to work and engage in learning from the curriculum. Binders were given to all my students in order to keep their work well organized. Pencils have been left on my desk for all to grab whenever needed. One student said it best; "I've never been set up better to not fail in a class". This made my heart warm and I thank all of you for your generosity. We appreciate all of you and your love and support.”

Funded Jun 1, 2019I want to take this opportunity to thank you for funding out classroom. This project reached all of my mathematicians. Students were so amazed to see me become the only teacher to provide every piece of material needed with no purchasing of their own required. They were so happy to see that in my class, they are equipped to be successful.
In my class, students will be using the folders as a portfolio. This portfolio will show their best work and be shared with parents on parent-teacher night. Students will use their notebooks for Focused note taking where their notes and classwork is divided into two parts. Left for correct work and right for correct and/or incorrect work. Making study time at home super easy.
Our next steps for our current project to showcase our hard work. The students have been working very hard since they receive their materials. Students will be displaying their work during our next showcase and share with their fellow classmates, teachers and parents how beneficial their supplies have been and the impact it has had on their learning. I thank everyone who donated. We are blessed to have been provided this material.”
