Help my students explore and better understand surface tension through a STEAM project where they will create their own bubble wands and then use them to experiment how different materials make bubbles stronger and more resistant to popping. This project will help them better understand how water holds the weight of objects, such as spiders!
Students will be working not only on surface tension, but meaningful watershed projects as well in that we will be building floating wetlands for a nearby body of water where the water quality could use a natural boost. In your funding of their surface tension projects, we will be able to build more floating wetlands for a greater impact.
