These manipulatives will help the students on the Autism Spectrum who learn differently. We will be able to have small group activities and help them learn math and reading, as well as social skills. Some of the students have difficulty visually tracking numbers and letters and the tactile materials will help them learn the numbers and letters. My students deserve and desire to fit in. When they feel successes at school, it carries over with them into life and they have more confidence. The more successful the students with ASD are when they are young, the better shot they have at becoming successful adults.
