Our second and third grade students will use this color printer to create engaging and exciting visuals for Project-Based Learning (PBL) Showcases. After our students have completed a project in our classrooms, we invite their families and our school community to attend showcases where they display and discuss their work and products from throughout the PBL journey. By having a color printer, students will have the opportunity to use text features and visuals to make exciting visual displays to showcase their knowledge. Students are learning typing and research skills in our classrooms, and they can apply these skills in an engaging way. We also plan to use this printer to create books with our students and make hands-on math games. Ultimately, having a color printer in our classrooms will allow the students to use 21st century skills to answer real-world problems, while showcasing their knowledge to their families and our community.
