Hello donors, These tools will help my students access currimculum in a new way and give these students with learning disabilities new ways to love reading. Some of the tools you will see are wobble stools to give them that movement they need yet allow them to keep seated and focused on the lesson. There have been many studies that show the ability to move while learning enables the student to commit more of the lesson to working memory. The diversity journal is wonderful as a writing practice for our students. Another thing you may have noticed is the binding machine. This is an amazing tool that I can use to send them home with supplemental materials that are at their levels to create writing, math, and reading journals that can enhance their abilities as people. Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will help me find resources that span the grade levels I teach. As an RSP teacher, I teach multiple grades, and modifying the curriculum across six grades is a monumental task. Using teaches pay teachers I can find all types of materials to enhance and expand the knowledge of my students. Headphones for the students allow them to block out the noises of the classroom that so often are distractions to the students. Many times these students are easily distracted with the use of regular ear buds by either sensory or physical issues. Headphones will allow my student to do their independent listening and reading centers without being distracted by the voice of the aides or me. The scholastic subscription will allow my students to practice their reading at home at their level. Since many of my students are physically in 3-6 grades, their reading levels are usually far below grade
