  • A Snack a Day!

    Funded Jan 17, 2024

Snack time has been awesome in our classroom. Your kindness allowed us to provide our students with healthy options to enjoy during snack time. Some friends were really excited to be snacking the same goodies as the other children in the classes. We have less sad faces during snack because most children are having the same or very similar snacks.

I am also to provide my picky eaters with an extra snack when they stay for after school some days.

This was all possible due to your kindness. Thank you for helping us create an environment where everyone feels loved.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Martinez

  • Hands Are for Building and Making!

    Funded Dec 7, 2023

    Thank you for your generosity.

All of these toys have provided my students with the opportunity to use their imagination to the next level and create beautiful things. Some students built castles, vehicles, forths and homes.

We use the link chains for sorting, counting, matching and work on our gross ml.

We are looking forward to using the Lego vehicles to reinforce our upcoming wheels learning unit. Nonetheless, every day, they are building something and more importantly they are excited to do it.”

  • Magnetic Fun

    Funded Oct 30, 2023

Thank you for supporting our classroom.

We have been having fun with our magnetic toys and blocks.

We used the magnetic tiles in two areas on our classroom, toys and games and the light table. We used them while conducting our clothes study, the children used the magnetic tiles to "dress" a child and identified the shapes they used. They have also been used to build ramps, towers, vehicles to name a few.

The rainbow blocks have been used to build different items such at boats, homes, castles and binoculars.

Thank you again for your generosity!”

  • Under the Sea

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you for helping me take my babies to an adventure under the sea. With your support, I was able to create a welcoming and soothing environment for my students. Everyone loved the classroom!

The better than paper that went up in August still looks the same till this date. I have replaced my students' work on the wall numerous times, and the paper does not rip. I use staples and tape to put their work up and remove it with no problems.

The clover streamers were used to decorate the room as well as create a cozy corner.

Once again a million thanks for your support.”

  • Preschool Essentials!

    Funded Aug 8, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity. These materials have helped me create a beautiful and engaging classroom for my students.

They can easily access the construction paper daily where they create work individually. paper since it went up in September. We have been working on our geometric shapes, numbers and colors.

The splash mats have been a game changer. We use them almost daily and often times use glue and when we are done with our crafts we simply wipe them off. In the past I would have to scrub the tables to remove glue or paint and I no longer do that.

Your generosity have help me create a beautiful classroom.”

  • Bugs Galore!

    Funded Jan 15, 2023

A million thanks for your generosity.

These bugs helped made our learning unit about bugs and insect a hit. The children loved playing with them.

We placed them in the block area, science center and dramatic play. In the block area children used them while they built structures. They even said they built a hotel for the bugs.

In dramatic play they were part of our garden. They placed the bugs in the grass and plant bed. Then they pretended to remove the bugs from the plants.

In science we used them for observation and developed/build vocabulary. We talked about body parts, number of legs and how they move.

Once again thank you for helping me provide these meaningful learning experiences for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Martinez

  • Better Than Paper Part 2

    Funded Jul 27, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity. Your donation has helped me create an environment that is soothing for children.

The borders provide a calming setting.

The chalkboard better than paper was used to decorate our classroom door with pictures of the children. They looked at their selves every morning. This was important because it helped create a sense of belonging for everyone.

The book our class is a family was read numerous times and eventually children created a collage with pictures of everyone from the class.

Your generosity has helped me create a beautiful classroom.

    Again, a million thanks!”

The dry erase writing table (Carolina Writing Center) will help my students with space. The dry erase surface is needed because they still don't have the concept of space therefore a lot of them don't know where to stop and write on the table instead of going back to the paper. We need aprons because my friends vary in small sizes and the ones we currently use do not fit accordingly. The stamp pad and stamp emotions will help them work on their fine motor skills as well as help them regulate their emotions. These age appropriate materials will encourage students to use them accordingly and help develop self help skills.
