I plan to introduce my students to the newly included materials and discuss the benefits of having new text and gross motor skill tools. I will allow the students to explore the materials one on one and then demonstrate the function that of the materials. For example, I will use the books in an introduction of related concepts. As students learn to telling time, I will introduce the concept with a whole group read aloud. As the students practice writing, I will allow the students to use the LEGO bricks and practice creating letters to better support their gross motor skills.
