With COVID-19 casting an uncertain cloud over what school will look like in the fall, I am trying to revamp my classroom to accommodate and support all types of learners, as well as design a room that adheres to the guidelines that the CDC has given. First graders love to move, and they love to learn. They are excited about learning new ideas and love to impress their teachers with their new knowledge. They also need an outlet to break up that learning. I've found so much success with giving students options on how they do their work, and I'm hoping a new rug, the oversize pillows, and floor chairs will help provide more options to support their learning. Anything you can give, I am more than appreciative of. School needs to continue to be a safe, nurturing environment for the students. Anything you're able to give will help all students find their just right fit within the classroom.
