Using our new musical instruments, scarves and ribbons with the additional cd's will entice our students to experience a variety of ways to move their bodies, recognize a beat, and notice different tones of musical instruments. We additionally asked for cd's to partner with items we have in the classroom such as bean bags and the parachute to motivate our students in new and creative ways. Using active multisensory learning to promote creativity in our classroom will enhance children's emergent literacy skills, numeracy skills and social skills. Children will use the variety of materials in many different ways within our classroom as well as outdoors to develop a love for the arts while building academic skills.
