We will read the novel sets together during intervention class time. I will use the novels for discussions and also supply students with opportunities to bolster their literacy skills. Some examples include; inferences, theme, main idea, author's purpose, and more! The novels will also provide opportunities for students to reflect and write about the stories that they read. Writing is often a skill that is underdeveloped with today's students. I would like to use this current literature to provide my classes with ample reflection opportunities. Reflecting on the literature read in class will enable students to advance their writing. The more students write the better their skills develop.
