    I would like to thank all my donors for your generosity in your donation. You've played a pivotal role in the success of my student's season. As a result, my students can play a sport that they love to play with the proper attire. The students are thankful for the practice jerseys and have taken full advantage of wearing them.

    When they first received the jerseys they were excited to have them and wasted no time putting them on. Every practice the students make sure they are prepared by having their jersey.

  • Bump Set Spike!

    I would like to thank all my donors for your generosity in your donation. You've played a pivotal role in the success of my students learning. As a result, my students can play a sport that they love to play with the proper equipment. The students are thankful for the equipment and have taken full advantage of using all of the volleyball.

    Before we receive the volleyball donation we had approximately 5 volleyballs. As a result, students had less opportunity to practice the skills because they had to share the limited equipment. This can be a problem because the student may become off-task because of the idle time.

    Now that we have received the donations of volleyballs the students have been in love with it. I am able to do lessons where students can work in a group of 2-3 rather than a bigger size group. This is important because this gives the students more practice time with the skill at hand. Some of the skills we have been learning about are volleying underhand and overhand and striking the ball over the net.”

I believe that kids can learn about life through sports. Life skills such as working with others to achieve common goals, competing, getting out of your comfort zone to grow, understanding and living by rules, and handling adversity the right way can all be taught and learned through sports. Volleyball is a sport most kids aren't exposed to. I want all my students to have an opportunity to be exposed to all different types of sports. Through your support and generosity, we can level the playing field for the less fortunate students and help them gain confidence. We can make a positive impact in their lives that they might not get without the proper equipment.

About my class

I believe that kids can learn about life through sports.
