During the typical day, my students who are not working in the small group with me at the time can be found working around the room, usually sitting on the floor in small groups or partners. There are a few pillows that students can lean against and it is always a race to snag those before they are taken! You can also typically see a few students standing and trying to use the waist-high counter as a workspace. With these choice seating options, students would have the opportunity to sit more comfortably on the floor or stand while working, with an actual workspace either independently or in partners.
