Your generous donations will meet the academic needs of my students as I help build their vital foundation in literacy. The pocket charts are perfect for workstations so the students can manipulate and sort pictures and letters to make word families. The phonics games will give them opportunities to apply skills taught in whole group in a fun and meaningful way. These materials will make learning fun, build their self-esteem, and acknowledge that school is a wonderful place with many exciting things to do. In addition to subject-based materials, general items such as pencils are a great need, but hard to come by without coming out of my own pocket! Anything that you can do to help would be greatly appreciated!
