My students are amazing and very talented. Whenever real learning takes place, my students light up with excitement. They always rise up to challenge when offered the opportunity to bring Literature alive through Drama. Sadly, there are few who on 3rd grade level and lack the support at home needed to overcome such challenges, they work hard with support provided them in school. The High School English classroom can be a frightening place for a student who cannot create pictures in his/her head, while reading. My students are full of imagination and can do great things if given the appropriate materials. They are strong willed and push themselves to greater levels despite the many difficult circumstances they encounter on a daily basis. I am proud to teach them and continue to learn from them everyday. They deserve the opportunity to read Shakespeare for fun.
