Classroom Storage for a Compact Classroom
Funded May 15, 2024I would like to THANK YOU for generously donating to my school project that benefits my students. I work in a very tight classroom, and I need to be creative as to how I organize materials for myself and my students.
The storage cubbies from Ikea have made a huge impact in my classroom. I use these cubbies to hold science, engineering and math activities for students to use on STEAM Fridays. All the materials are kept tidy in their place, and students know how to return the cubbies to the storage unit. I also use the storage to hold manipulatives for upcoming math lessons. It's organized and easy to grab.
The magnetic curtain rods I use daily. One holds our weekly spelling words, and the other curtain rod holds the weekly grammar lesson anchor chart. For a tight classroom, these magnetic curtain rods are key for my students.
Thank you for supporting educators. I am beyond grateful for your continued support. Thank you for providing these incredible and necessary materials for my classroom.”

Funded May 5, 2024I would like to THANK YOU for generously donating to my school project that benefits my students! I am currently teaching at a new school this year, and our classrooms are very tight on space. I need to be creative in finding storage for classroom materials for my use, and for my students' use. The four rolling carts are used at the end of each bank of tables in my classroom. These carts hold student reading books, clipboards, white boards, markers, math manipulatives, and student headphones.
Each week my students take a handful of tests. The privacy partitions sure do help students stay focused on their own work. It allows students to focus on what is in front of them and not what's going on around the classroom.
The clipboards are used as mini student desks when students' sit on the carpet. These clipboards allow students a hard surface to write on while sitting close to the screen in the front of the classroom.
The curtain rods have been such a blessing to use in my classroom. I am able to hang anchor charts around the room. It allows students to access previously taught information, and it keeps me organized!
Thank you for supporting educators. I am beyond grateful for your support. Thank you for providing materials for my classroom!”

Funded Nov 30, 2022Thank YOU for your generous donations to fund my class project! My students were jumping up and down with excitement when the boxes were delivered to my classroom! My students were besides themselves talking with their neighbors deciding which game they wanted to play first! These balancing games have been a huge hit! I love watching my students think about their pawn placement and holding their breath to see if the bees fall from the tree, or if the french fries, hamburgers, or ice cream sundaes will fall from the waiter's serving tray. I plan to give each student a new jar of play-dough when we return to school in January. Thank you again for supporting my class project. My heart is full. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and new year!”

Funded Sep 20, 2022Thank YOU for generously funding my classroom project! My students were so excited when I opened the magical box to find a jumbo classroom timer! They LOVE watching the red minute hand tick away to zero. I'm enjoying listening to them sing our counting by 5s song, too. As I type this, my students are happily engaged in building a massive rainbow color birthday cake with the Playstix rods. Another group of students are collaborating together building a castle tower with the Magna-Tiles. In addition to students using their creativity, these tools also help foster positive social emotional learning by working together on a common project. They're sharing, arguing, and compromising. It's beautiful to observe and help foster positive classroom experiences. Again, thank YOU for your generosity.”

Funded Aug 26, 2022Thank YOU for bringing such FUN into my classroom! My students were jumping up and down when I opened the DonorsChoose box and shared what was inside! They could not believe ALL THESE hands-on activities were for them!
My students absolutely LOVE playing with the classroom set of Magna-Tiles. Students build houses, castles, buildings, and cars. I love watching them build together, use their imaginations, share pieces, and work through their differences while building.
The rubbing crayons and tactile plates are also a big hit! Students love picking out different color crayons and creating multiple pictures using the tactile plates. We go through a lot of paper!
My students and I are beyond grateful for your support to our classroom. They love working with all the new materials. Thank you for bringing hands-on FUN into our classroom!”

Let's Build, Create, Manipulate & Organize!
Funded Mar 10, 2022Thank YOU for funding my classroom project! You've provided hands-on opportunities for my students to build, create, imagine and explore. The Magna-Tiles are such a hit! My students LOVE building houses, buildings and castles. The double-sided magnetic write and wipe boards have been instrumental in teaching proper letter formations and where each written stroke falls between the top, middle and bottom line. The lapboard caddies provide easy access and organization for students to store their boards and markers. My students have thoroughly enjoyed the soft, calming seats when looking through books in our classroom library. It provides a soft place to sit instead of the tile floor. Again, thank you for providing educational opportunities for my students to enjoy during centers and free time. Thank you for supporting Arizona teachers!”

Funded Aug 9, 2022Wow and THANK YOU! I am beyond grateful for your financial contributions to fund a dehumidifier for my classroom. It has truly been a lifesaver! The classroom humidity has gone from the 70s to the low 50s. It has made SUCH A DIFFERENCE! I mentioned before, my plan is to use the collected water on my classroom plants. The receptacle fills up three to four times a day! I asked my husband to come by and help me hook up the hose, so the water can drain into the sink and into a container for my plants. Thanks you YOU, my classroom is a much more conducive learning environment. My students and I thank you!”

Funded Dec 27, 2021Thank YOU for funding my classroom project for face masks and hand sanitizer! We've already finished off two boxes of masks! My students are really good about wearing them, however, they often get lost on the playground or when eating at lunch. Thank you for taking the burden off of families to provide clean masks every day. I have two bottles of hand sanitizer open in my classroom. When students leave the room, I squirt a drop into everyone's hands. When students come back into the classroom, I do it again. Thank you for helping me keep my students safe and healthy. I appreciate your support!”

Students' Personalized Educational Materials & Organization
Funded Nov 30, 2021Thank YOU so much for supporting my project! My students were so excited to see our new classroom supplies! We've already put our new chart paper to work! We're working on words in the "am" family. The chart paper provides a great visual for the students to reference. I've been busy laminating individual alphabet letter and sound cards for students to practice everyday in the classroom. These will be hole punched and put on the silver rings for each student. The teacher tubs are already in use for my supplies and student centers. Lastly, my students are beyond thrilled to play and create with fresh, new playdough! I absolutely LOVE observing their creations! Again, Thank YOU!”

Funded Jul 15, 2021Thank YOU for your incredible support of our classroom! When my project posted, I couldn't wait to share these materials with my students! My students absolutely love playing with their individual tubs of play dough and the play dough tool sets. I enjoy observing their creativity while working on important fine-motor skills. Students also enjoy stamping out the alphabet using play dough. The small golf-like pencils and chubby pencils have been key while helping students hold their pencils with better accuracy.
The wireless doorbell has been a successful classroom management tool! When students hear the bell, they freeze and wait for my directions. One day, I stepped out of my classroom for a minute, and I had the doorbell around my neck on a lanyard. Somehow I pushed the button, and my students froze. A classroom monitor was in my room and wondered what had just happened. The doorbell has a great range and my students know the drill.
Thank you for allowing me to build my social-emotional classroom library. One of the first books I read to my students was "Our Class is a Family." We spend so much time together at school, we talked about how we are all loved, we are all safe, and we are all accepted!
Again, thank you all for supporting my classroom. I am beyond grateful!”
