See It, Touch It, Say It, and We Learn It

Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for offering my class with those fantastic learning materials. You delight their days with these hands-on materials and with visual support as well. For the student populations I have, they need and in need of more support from all of us. All my students felt shocked and excited when I showed them what we got. They were so excited and couldn't wait to explore. I displayed all the games in our hands-on center.

Unfortunately, this is a very special year due to COVID-19. Being on the safe side, all my students chose to learn remotely from home. I used those materials as my supplemental support when we met online. I also used those materials when I worked with small groups to enhance their sight word learning. Although they could not play the games with their hands-on, they still enjoyed the time when we played the games together live. They verbally told me what they thought and wanted me to do, I conducted the activities as they said. The benefit of it is that they talked more and tried their best to communicate with me, so I could conduct the games the way they liked to play. Also the cues of the pictures, the magnetic features of certain sight words games help me to display words to them easily.

In addition, I taught another class with in-person kids as well. We were able to conduct pop beginning sound activities on site. They loved the game because of the pop-sound of the dice, and the picture support on the sheet, gave them excitement and willingness to try and accomplish the game.

Once again, thank you so much for your support and generosity. Thank you for providing my students with these amazing materials.”

With gratitude,

Ms. Dong
