As a parent, we want our children to become independent and find their place in the world. As a teacher, I want the same exact thing for all of my students. My students have diverse needs, but one thing they all have in common is the need to stay on task. Currently we are using visual and verbal cues to keep our students on track, but that is not promoting independence. The Wobl watches will allow us to pre-program vibrating reminders for students to stay on task through out their school day! The watches will provide the students with the independece that we all want. The students will be the only ones that know they are being reminded to stay on task. Before these watches, students were given verbal and visual cues by adults in the room, with these watches they will become independent students!
