  • Ready, Head Sets!

    My students are beyond grateful to engage with technology using their headsets. The headsets have helped them focus and fully engage in their learning. With their headsets, they are able to listen to stories, do research, and have full access with platforms that have audio as an option. The headsets have provided that space to connect with lessons and communicate with peers. Students have stated that they are grateful to have headsets. One student stated, the headsets really allows me to understand the stories and lessons. I am not distracted by the outside noise.

    My student look forward using their Chrome Books and their headsets. They are beyond grateful that they were provided with the headsets.”

  • Engaging Great Minds With Hands on Experiences!

    Thank you very much for providing these resources for my classroom. The resources have allowed my students to use their creativity and hand motor skills. Students and parents engaged in a project in which together, they interacted to create a craft with the resources provided. The purpose of the project was to have students and families interact and it also served as an opportunity for the students to developed language.

    The students talked about the shapes and the colors.

    The students were very excited when they received their materials. They were anxious to create their crafts with their parents. The colors sparked their interest and enthusiasm.

    Now that students have created their projects with their families. We want to invite the families to share their experiences with the rest of the classroom. Involving the families into the classroom creates a learning community in which parents can also be a resource that contribute to students' learning.”

My students need the resources which include supplies and materials that will make their learning engaging. Digital tools do not meet the needs of all students. Due to limited funding, our school can’t provide with the necessary materials to engage students in hands on activities or projects. My students will be able to use the resources at home to help them solve problems. The resources will make their learning more meaningful. My kindergartners are eager to learn. Developmentally, they need to have hands on experiences. Exploration will continue to spark their curiosity, contribute to their creativity and academic growth.

About my class
