The requests I am making will help my students have some choice in their learning. We all love choice! If they can choose where they want to sit or sit on and with which material they complete it with helps them to stay engaged and learning isn't that all we can ask for! These materials will help them with their phonics skills either in a small group or independently. The materials will also help build up the materials that I need in my classroom to be able to help my students achieve this goal. I can't wait to share these options with my students!
