  • Organization and Storage

    Funded Sep 24, 2021

As soon as I received these organizers, I set them up right away. I'm so excited to have them! My students are using some of the drawers to store their folders/work, and I'm using the others for important visuals and materials. Thank you! It allows me to keep the items I need close to our table, while still keeping them out of sight from the more impulsive hands of some of our students. Some of the things we have already put inside include: student folders/work, articulation homework packets, articulation cards, wh-question materials, games, dice and craft materials, and visuals such as sentence strips and memory/comprehension strategies. I am very grateful for your help, and the students are excited about them as well!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ramage

  • Fantastic Speech and Language Supplies to Help Our Students!

    Funded Mar 20, 2011

Thank you so much for your generosity, which allowed my project to become fully funded! I cannot begin to describe my excitement on the day that I found out, and again when the materials arrived!!

You have played a huge part in funding materials that benefit the communication skills of young elementary aged children. These materials allow me to more effectively target articulation skills (e.g. an evidence-based book to assist children with a lateral lisp), grammatical skills (e.g. sentence structure game), word retrieval skills (e.g. vocabulary-naming game), vocabulary/categorizing skills (e.g. Find the Link activity), answering wh- questions (e.g. The World of Wh- Questions), and other important language skills (e.g. Language for Life Binder, Toss 'N Talk Word Fun). These resources will be used for years to come, and will benefit many children. I can express my appreciation enough, but want to thank each of you so much for your kindness and generosity.

THANK YOU for what you have done to help my students become better communicators!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ramage

Our young students are in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. They are full of energy and excitement, and sometimes have a difficult time understanding or expressing themselves in some way. It is amazing to see the increased confidence and pride that comes when they learn new skills, and are able to interact more effectively with peers and adults.
