Over the years, education has changed. As a kindergarten teacher, I often hear "kindergarten is not what it used to be". That statement is very accurate but, the expectations and development of children have shifted drastically. Children are slowly becoming less independent have having a difficult time interacting with peers. Children learn best through play and peer interactions. So why not give them both? These LEGO kits are a perfect starter set for introducing science and design technology concepts. They are easy for young students to work with and it enables students to explore how familiar objects work. Children will be able to work together to assemble different simple machines.
