  • Bringing the Joy Into Reading

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

Wow! I can't begin to thank you for all of the valuable resources that you have provided for my students for this year and many years to come! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Whenever I pull out a brand new learning station, they are all so eager to participate and learn at the new station. I am using these new resources at reading stations when the students are independently working on reading skills. These resources provide them with valuable resources to learn independently the skills they are struggling with in the classroom.

I wish you could see their reactions when each new resource is brought out for them to use! It's seriously like Christmas each time we have a new game or learning resource to use!

With these new materials, my students have been so engaged and able to learn so much more than they ever would have before! They are so excited to work on letters, sounds, sight words, and consonant-vowel-consonant words. My students will even ask when it's time for stations because they know there will be lots of fun learning resources waiting for them.

Thank you so incredibly much for your generous donations. You have made such a huge impact on this class and many, many classes in the future! Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Bennett

  • Rockin' Readers!

    Funded Aug 13, 2021

I can't thank you enough for your very generous donation to my kindergarten readers. My students have been so excited to use these new materials that they don't even realize they are learning! There are so many fun and engaging games to help them learn the sounds, consonant-vowel-consonant words, and read new high frequency words. These games and activities will provide lots of learning fun for many years to come, and I am extremely appreciative of your donation!

Whenever I pull out a new learning game or activity, they actually squeal with delight. Everyone is so eager to play the new game, that they do not realize the amount of learning that is taking place. It really is a joy to see their excitement when using a new (or old) game to practice their kindergarten reading skills.

Once I introduce the new learning game or activity to the whole group, I then put it into a reading station where a smaller group will be able to play the game or complete the learning activity. Honestly, they can hardly wait to get to their stations to see what they will be doing and which games will be played. There is one activity where they make words with blocks, and they like to then see how many words each person can make at their station.

I will be sure to put all of these resources to great use and in the hands of many future kindergarten students. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Bennett

  • Reading Like a Rock Star

    Funded Jul 12, 2020

My students feel like it's Christmas when we pull out a new game or learning activity! Some of the resources will be used later in the school year as their skill levels increase, but we have been able to use some of the letters and sound activities at this point in the year. We typically use them during our small group station time, and my students are just loving the hands on activities and games!

The students are so excited and happy to have so many new materials to use in our class this year. Their enthusiasm is so heart-warming, and I wish you could hear their squeals of delight when we use our new materials! We are all incredibly grateful and thankful for your support of our students. These materials will be used for many years to come in the future as well!

Many students do not have access to fun learning games and resources at home, and with your generous donation, students are able to utilize these materials while at school. Thank you so much for all of your help and support this year! We truly appreciate your donations and kindness towards supplying us with much needed games and learning resources. I know these valuable resources will give the opportunity to turn non-readers into readers! Thank you so much!”

  • Stem Laboratory for Kindergarten

    Funded May 8, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation for our STEM materials! My kindergarten students have been so engaged and excited to learn many new concepts with these resources! These new STEM resources are being used at math and reading stations as well as whole group demonstrations. The students were really excited to engage in the activities of coding Jack, the robot mouse! We also had a friendly competition to see which group could make the longest domino row using the same number of dominoes. These are just a few of the many examples that we have experienced with our new resources!

My students thought it was Christmas when they first saw all of the materials! They were talking excitedly about which one they wanted to open first! They couldn't believe all of the resources we now have in our classroom!

As it is only October, I am excited to report that we have many upcoming STEM projects this school year! Some of our upcoming projects include: breaking open geodes, sprouting seeds and watching them grow, creating electrical circuits via the electronic snap circuits, and constructing structures out of the magnetic building tiles. You have really blessed our classroom with your generous donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Bennett

The idea of STEM learning is fairly new at our school, and it's been a little difficult purchasing these resources on my teacher salary. This is my first time reaching out for assistance in our classroom. Purchasing these STEM materials will help foster a sense of creativity and learning in our kindergarten classroom. My students and I would be very thankful and appreciative to have these items to help us navigate learning in a new way for our school. I can already see the excitement and anticipation that would occur in our kindergarten classroom with these new STEM materials! These new materials would be used at stations so that all children would be able to actively use them and participate in the STEM learning. Thanks for your consideration for helping our students!
