Thank you so much for your generous support. Your wonderful contribution to provide delicious snacks will help my students keep their tummies full, bodies energized and minds focused. Thank you so much for also helping my students get Band-Aids to help them stay safe. I am so greatful for your kindness and support. My students will be so happy to hear they will be getting delicious snacks and so much needed Bad-Aids. Thank you once again for funding this project and making it possible.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Concepcion
This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Supporter in memory of Francinia Hall and one other donor.
I want to thank you for your donation towards my Successful Engagement and Learning project. We received our project materials towards the end of August 2020. The plan was to use your donations at the beginning of the new school cycle. Sadly, our school closed due to COVID-19 and we were not able to use them. I am excited to announce that our school will be opening in March 2021 and I can't wait to see my students use their fidgeting items to help them stay calm and focus on their return to class. In the sense that my students have been learning from home and have had no interaction with other children, these items would certainly be strong support.
Some of my students need fidgeting items to be able to stay calm and focus in class. During story time and whole group instruction is where they need to keep their focus the most. My students get so excited when I pass out our classroom “squeeshies” (Gel-Bead Sensory Shapes) during our whole group instruction. When I get the basket where I keep the squeeshies, they sit on the rug silently and just wait for me to give them one so they can hold on their hands. The fidget items help them stay calm and be better listeners. The need of more fidget items is important to have in my classroom.
