This project is great for the year end. It is a great middle school book that looks at growth. 7th graders are going through so many changes and this book helps them evaluate how they are growing and progressing into adulthood. There are many application pieces that can be applied to their lives. Last year the final writing project was based on this book and my students brought me to tears by some of the things they learned and how they had grown through the year. This book is both an academic book but also a personal one for many as they see how they grow.
