TPT Resources for My Kindergarten Students!
Funded Nov 15, 2022The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card has allowed me to purchase several resources for different content areas. My students can practice the skills independently by cutting, gluing, writing, and coloring. I am able to search for any and all resources in Teachers Pay Teachers and find many low cost resources for Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Art, and Science. All the resources I have purchased are interactive and fun. Students enjoy using these printouts to practice and take home some of the learning to share with their families.
My students enjoy practicing with fun interactive activities. For Valentine's day this year I purchased a sorting activity with the TPT gift card that involved sorting and coloring by graphing the different types of candy hearts and then eating the hearts when their work was finished. During my Language Arts block, I purchased useful resources to help my students read cvc words and to improve their reading fluency. There is a wide range of useful digital resources within the TPT platform. These digital resources are downloaded and available in my TPT account to be used as many times as needed. I am very grateful and appreciative to the donors who helped provide this resource for my students. I thank you greatly for your generosity and kindness!”

Literacy Tools to Help Improve Phonics Skills!
Funded May 9, 2022The new resources I received were used immediately during my small group reading instruction. Students eagerly awaited the use of the cvc puzzles, letter cards and letter cubes. They were anxious to use the items with their peers. One of the items I used to reinforce short vowel sounds were the CVC puzzles. Some students have been struggling with multi-syllable words. However, they felt very successful looking at the picture clues on the puzzle pieces and reading and rereading the words with their partners. The reusable dry erase pockets are excellent for reteaching skills that can be practiced for several days.
In addition, as I worked with small groups some of my students used their storytelling skills by using the flannel board. I used this resource as an enrichment for those students who were working independently or with a partner to retell familiar stories.
These resources will help my students become confident and proficient readers! I greatly appreciate your kindness. Thank you for your generosity!”

Mrs. Cantoran
