Children ages 3-11, multiple buildings, multiple students, multiple needs, multiple meetings, and now distance learning reaching students in multiple locations. This calls for a multi-functional iPad Pro and pencil to reach students in whichever location they may be. Used for student learning and engagement through speech and language apps, implementing therapy, video modeling, collecting data, and sharing progress with families through apps and video platforms. Participation in meetings and completing Individual Education Plans as well as teletherapy sessions too! Whew, this we can do!!
Some students have words and others have none but they all get the glow of excitement when they are introduced to a screen time show, they don't even realize how hard they are working! Numerous apps at a moments notice from articulation skills to augmented and alternative communication (visual communication for non-verbal communicators). School is closed and materials are locked inside...accessing the varied materials required to support my students' needs can all be done on the iPad and it is fun.
Please support my speech and language students, with multiple levels of communication impairments including autism, hearing impairment, emotional impairment, and receptive, expressive, social/pragmatic, and articulation impairment, as they strive to master their communication skills! Please support me with the Speech-Language Pathologist as I put on my oh so many hats to meet the needs of my students and provide motivating and accessible therapy. Together we can make a significant difference in their lives and my delivery of service to them! THANK YOU!
