  • Another Mobile Storage Shelf

    Funded Dec 28, 2024

Thank you for helping me to get another mobile storage shelf. It has been so handy, to be able to put supplies for current projects all in one place, makes organization a snap. Now my students know where to find materials. And more importantly, I am not wasting time looking for supplies that are needed.

Each week I am able to load the shelves with materials needed for each grade level. And when I have a special needs class, I simply have to roll the shelf into the storage room. Thank you for making my days go more smoothly.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Gardner

  • Kwik Stix

Thank you for helping my students get the art supplies that they need. Your generosity will not go to waste. My students enjoy coloring with the Kwik Stix, and their work looks amazing.

The support of the DonorsChoose community is awesome and I feel so blessed to know so many people that value public education and the arts as much as you do.”

  • 3Doodler Start Pens

    Funded Mar 18, 2025

Thank you for helping me to have enough 3Doodler Start Pens for an entire class. I know the children will love creating 3D objects with these cool pens. I also now have enough plastic filaments to use with an entire grade level. I don't know how it is possible, but art class just got way more fun.”

  • Art Display Panels

    Funded Mar 7, 2025

Thank you so very much! My next art show will be much easier to display because of your generous support. With these display panels, even my youngest students can help with hanging their artwork.

I cannot wait to share the good news with my colleagues and students. Thank you again!”

  • Storage Needed

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Thank you for funding my project for a mobile shelving unit. Mobile storage can help keep art supplies organized and within reach. Now I am able to easily retrieve and put away supplies that are needed throughout the day. One key feature of being an effective art teacher is organization. And this shelf helps with that.

This mobile shelving unit also allows for added space. I am able to store many bins on the shelves. With the wheels I can roll the shelf out to the classroom area, use the items throughout the day, and roll it to a safe storage space when class is over.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Gardner

  • Drill Baby Drill

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

Thank you for funding my Drill Baby Drill project! My students were thrilled to find that there were more drills for them to use. Now there is less wait time for that one drill to get put down.

I am a firm believer in turning STEM into STEAM. STEAM, which stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and math, is important because it helps develop skills that are useful in many areas of life. Problem solving, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills are all developed through play at this young age. Thank you for helping me to provide these learning opportunities for my students.”

    With gratitude,

I teach art to grades K-5 students. My students enjoy coming to art class and are extremely creative. They enjoy working with all sorts of media to create different types of art. I cannot count have many times I have heard that art is their favorite resource class. I serve two schools in the same community. One houses kindergarten and first grade. The other serves second through fifth grade. We also have several special needs classes. Our community is a rural, farming community with very strong ties to military families, as we are within close proximity to a large Army base. As a result we serve military-connected students. Both schools are Title 1 Schools where all receive free and breakfast and lunch. Despite having limited opportunities, my students are eager to come to school and to learn. Any projects you donate to will be used to their fullest potential.
