Mindfulness Reset Zone
Funded Dec 8, 2024Your generosity has given my students more than just bean bags and a rug. As soon as they saw the setup they fell in love. Students who normally have a difficult time staying still and concentrating can sit on a bean bag and suddenly remain in a silent state.
Giving them the opportunity to have that space that helps them come down from impatience and frustration they experience has helped immensely. They have enjoyed the space and look forward to it. They have also come in during lunch just to relax and be ready for their next class.
Our Reset Zone is far from done, the kids are giving me ideas on what to add to make it feel more relaxing. My hope is to add more to it taking their ideas into consideration so that they feel much more willing to use it and feel that they had a part in it's construction.
Thank you again for your generosity.”

Fueling Curiosity and Empowering Learning
Funded Feb 20, 2025Your kindness and giving heart has filled us with great joy. All these materials will be used to engage and empower our future generations.
The solar filters will give us the opportunity to observe the sun during the day and the rest of the materials will help us to better understand some of the concepts of physics.
Thank you again for your generosity and support.”

Helping Students Stay Fresh and Confident
Funded Sep 26, 2023The complete funding of this project has given our students some confidence and sense of security at school.
As I unboxed the items and showed the kids everything from the project they all had the same two questions. Who is it for? and Are they free? When I responded that it was all for them and that they did not have to pay they became happy and commented on how much they needed either some deodarant, comb for their hair, and for the girls they are now comfortable knowing that when they need sanitary pads they have a place to go and get them without having to ask different female staff members if they happen to carry any extra.
It's so bittersweet to see their expressions of relief and a sense security when they come to school. Our kids come from so many backgrounds that it's difficult not to want to give them the world so that their self-esteem and self-confidence can be lifted a few steps.
Your endless giving nature is rare and the smiles you have brought to our kids each time you fund our projects are priceless. There are not enough words to express how gratefull we are and to describe the emotions our kids feel when they think about how someone so far is willing to give to them.
Thank you!!!”

Creative Learning Using Technology
Funded Apr 11, 2022Your kindness and giving nature continues to fill our kids with joy. Leadership and Fashion Retail students have enjoyed working with the cricut to create a variety of items such as posters, stickers, clothing stickers and so much more.
When the box arrived the kids as always were curious to see what was inside, I had the student from the pictures help me open it and she was excited to see it. Many kids were explaining how long they have been wanting to learn and try using a cricut. Thanks to your generosity they now have the opportunity to learn and use it.
All our students are grateful for all the support received from donors like you. Thank you again for your giving nature.”

Organized Leaders
Funded Dec 7, 2021Your generosity has helped our leadership kids learn how to organize their daily activities and set goals using the planner. It has made it so much easier to take notes of their meetings, brainstorm activities and just track everything in general.
When they first saw their planners and portfolio they thought it was "too fancy" for them and we explained how they would help them with organization.
We hope that our leadership club continues with each passing year and our new members will also enjoy the use of the portfolio's and notepads. We will obviously continue to order planners as each year passes.
Again we would like to thank you for your generosity and kindness.”

Positive Behavior Support
Funded Jul 20, 2021When we received the boxes and I had a group of students open it they were unsure what the t-shirts would be used for. When I explained why we had created the project they were excited to know they would be given a t-shirt and select the design for the front.
We strive to teach our kids the acronym for our school, commitment, attitude, teamwork sucess. Part of our mission is to do what is best for our kids and the other part is to teach them unity as well as having a positive mindset in order to succeed.
Students all have their own definition of success, we try to show them more than what their understanding is. We strive to teach them that there is no limit to success if they keep a positive mindset and work hard to keep moving forward.
The students were happy with the design they selected and knowing that through hard work and dedication they earned the t-shirt, it made them feel appreciated as well as recognized.
Thank you again for all the support you have given our students.”

Funded Jul 20, 2021Our idea behind this project was to be better organized and in turn help the flow of the classroom move with ease. The original idea was to have cubbies for all students to store their school supplies in but as it turns out it was not available.
We then moved to a storage cabinet to store our Manikens that are used in our Human Body Systems class. The manikens fit perfectly and we can keep them locked and secured to avoid the work done to be compromised.
The shelf system fit perfectly in the storage room and added additional support for the extra school supplies we have been blessed with.
The final item was a oil diffuser which gives the classroom a pleasant scent. We have tried several different oils and are still deciding which scent we all like best.
These gifts have been a blessing and will continue to keep us organized for years to come. If our world had more giving people like you it would be such an amazing place.
Thank you for all your continued support and helping our students feel special.”

Funded Apr 1, 2021Your support in this project was amazing! The students were so excited to receive gifts that included more than just school supplies. The stress balls and puzzle toys were a great distraction from so much time spent isolated and many who were experiencing depression. Supporting kids through these difficult times gives us the opportunity to change their attitude even if it is just a little. That small ripple can eventually change them for the better in the future to come. They received so much support were are set for a new school year as well. Thank you again and I hope you enjoy the student pics with their goodie bags.”

Funded Dec 2, 2020It is such a blessing to have received funding for this project. As kids return to the classroom slowly this microscope will allow me to present to the kids on the "big screen." It is still too soon to return to the lab fully and work hands on, their are few labs we can complete in which I can accommodate all students individually with their own microscope. The bright side to all of this is that I can talk them through how to adjust and fine focus their specimens so that they are better prepared when we can have a more "normal" school year.
The students found the integrated camera to be, "pretty cool" and they love to see different specimens.
Because I teach human body systems and an intro to biomed course there are so many slides to get through from muscle cells, blood cells, bone, stomach and so much more. We will be diving into neurons and diabetes next and I am hoping they will enjoy watching some nervous tissue samples under our new microscope.
Once again thank you so much for funding our project, we are truly grateful and blessed by caring and giving people.”
