My classroom has focused on how to be organized so that they can show responsibility for their own folders and important papers. The use of a mailbox and dot spots will allow my students to be more organized within their classroom environment. As they move up with me into first grade, they will start taking tests independently and work more with higher place value numbers. The place value chart will allow us to review place value quickly and daily. The privacy folders will help the students to focus as they learn how to take tests independently as well as the content.
