Thanks to your efforts and supports we were able to get the materials needed to create new engaging resources. • Headphones for Hopeful Learners

    Funded Oct 23, 2021

Your support was so amazing. The headphones and mouses have been a great addition to our classroom. Each child has been able to have their own headphones and has helped them really engage with our online programs.

The mouses have been great for students whose computers were malfunctioning and for those that struggled working the track pad.

Our classroom pointer makes it so easy to move around the room, while we continue our lessons. Our students are so grateful for all of your support. Thank you again.”

  • Bringing Learning to Life!

    Funded Jul 18, 2021

Thank you so much for all of your support. The materials we received from this project have really made a difference in our classroom. Students have been able to use the letters and CVC games to work on their letter sounding and blending.

The math tools have really helped them practice their number sense and addition and subtraction strategies. We are so appreciative of your help and I can see just how much these manipulatives have helped my students in their learning. These are materials that I will be able to use from year to year and know that my future students will also value greatly.”

  • Making Hybrid Fun One Activity at a Time!

    Funded Feb 4, 2021

Thank you so much for your support. As students returned to in person teaching this school year, it was clear that while it was exciting to back in the classroom, it was not exactly like it had been in the past. We followed a lot of health protocols that kept us at a distance, but we were still able to provide them with opportunities to demonstrate their creativity and show off their imagination. Everyday they looked forward to their activity buckets and all of the possibilities that came with them. They shared their ideas and thoughts with their classmates, encouraged each other, and best of all celebrated their creations.

From houses, cars, rockets, and even entire lands our students showed us some amazing creations and stories, all of which were thanks to you and your support. Thank you again for helping us bring joy into hybrid learning. We really couldn't have done it without you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lee

  • Blended Learning Toolkits

    Funded Jul 3, 2020

This year has not been what expected by any means, but with your support we were able to provide binders and math tool kits to all of the first grade students at our school. These binders were distributed at the beginning of the school year and were sent home to aid our students during distance learning.

Inside they have found resources from reading, writing, and math. We took such care in creating these binders for each child to know that they are an important part of our classrooms. Even months later we continue to deploy materials for them to add to their distance learning binders in a hope that we can continue to enhance their learning experience, even from a distance. Our entire first grade team, the students, and their families are so grateful for your support towards this project. It has made a meaningful impact on their distance learning experience and we honestly could not have done it with out you!”

    With gratitude,

  • New Tools For New First Graders

    Funded May 28, 2020

I want to thank you for all of your donations. With your help I was able to get my students supplies that were essential in making their transition to first grade run more smoothly. This year we were not able to come back in person, so I do not have pictures of the students using the materials in class. However, I was able to send students materials for them to use at home as they continue learn through distance learning.

They were so excited to receive supplies and tools to help aid them in making distance learning more comforting and familiar. Our families felt so appreciative of being able to receive a small portion of our classroom into their homes. That was all thanks to you and your donations. Although school has looked different this year, this small but impactful gift has really a made a difference in their learning.

They have been able to keep their materials in order and have crayons to fill in the details of their writing, crafts, and explorations. I cannot wait until they are back in the classroom to see the use of these tools in person. When we are able to safely return to our classroom I know that they will be able to use these supplies to further their learning and their imaginations.

Thank you for all of your support in this project from my students, their families, and myself. I honestly could not have done it without you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lee

From the first day of school these supplies will help create a warm and organized environment for all of my students. The crayons will help my students add life and detail into their pictures. When we write, students are always asked to include as many details as possible into their sentences and on top of that they need a picture that matches the words. Those pictures will only be enhanced through coloring, not to mention the skin tone crayons will give students of any background the ability to see themselves represented in their own drawings. As new first graders we must also learn responsibility by being able to take care of our things and having just the right place to put them. The pencil boxes and folders will helps keep up organized with our supplies and give students the ability to learn about ownership over their things. They will about keeping their stuff safe and in order and how that will help foster their education. The smaller pouches will help us keep our Eagles Chips in a safe place. We will know exactly where to put our hard earned Eagle Chips and have them ready for when it is time to shop at our weekly Eagle Store. Our folders will help keep our desks tidy and make easier to locate work that we haven't finished. We can't wait to fill those boxes up with all the tools that will help us be successful in first grade. Everything from pencils, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, and erasers. Having their own supplies teaches them how to be responsible and also gives all students from different backgrounds the chance to start the year off with the same materials as their peers.
