  • Books, Books, Books!

    Funded Oct 4, 2024

Thank you so much for donating to our book project. We were able to get so many new books for our classroom library and my students were so excited. You not only made it possible for my class to get new books, but also Mrs. Ratigan's class and for that we are so grateful. You have made such an impact in the life our small readers. I am happy to have been able to add more nonfiction books for our students to learn more about the world around them. You have also helped us provide more books for students at different reading levels that did not have as many options to choose from.

With your help we are creating a love for reading like never before. Thank you!”

  • New Classroom Set Up

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you so much for your donations! Our rug came in this week and my students are so excited. They have already claimed their spots on the rug and it has really helped keep us together during lessons. We have received so many compliments from other staff and students. The rug has transformed our classroom and made it even more welcoming.

Our classroom sharpener also came in last week and we are so grateful! It sharpens so quickly and well. It has a great range of pencil sizes to use. Your support means the world to me and my students. They made our classroom even more ready for learning!”

  • Moving and Creating in First Grade

    Funded Nov 29, 2023

Thank you for your support towards our project. The stools made such a difference in our classroom. With limited space and so many students, the stools made it easier to move around the classroom and to help provide some new seating arrangements for them to choose from. We are so grateful for your support and the difference that it helped make in our classroom.

With donors like you, we are able to make real changes in our classrooms that help benefit our students and their learning. We appreciate you and can't wait to continue to use them for a long time to come.”

  • Growing Our First Graders

    Funded Nov 2, 2023

Thank you for your support. We are so excited for the materials you have helped us acquire. They have been put to great use. Between the white boards and headphones we have been using them daily. The resupply of crayons and markers was very much needed.

Your help and support makes a big difference in classrooms and we are so glad you were here to help. My students had all the materials they needed to be successful. We are so grateful for your contributions and know that my students are so happy to receive them.”

    Funded Mar 28, 2023

Thank you so much for your support. As our soccer season nears we are so excited to get to use our new gear. From the balls, cones, and jerseys; we are able to start off our soccer season with everything we will need. Students have been itching to get started and the word has spread about how you all helped us fund our soccer clubs project. The students have been working hard to practice and make you all proud.

Thank you for helping us grow our club. We are excited for what this season will offer and to be able to transport our supplies from one school to another with ease.”

  • Getting Ready for First Grade

    Funded Jun 22, 2023

Your help getting our year started was so amazing. My students were able to come to school knowing they didn't need to worry about getting any specialized school supplies. Families who couldn't afford to go get too many things were grateful to know that their child would have everything they needed in the classroom to be successful. It's such a small thing, that can make a large impact.

My students came in so excited to learn, get working, and start making memories. I am so grateful for your support and your willingness to think of us. We use our materials everyday in class and get so excited to create, learn, and display everything we do.

    Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lee

  • Bringing Action into Learning

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your support. We are so appreciative of all our games and materials. The games have brought so much fun to our classroom and really enhanced our phonics and reading lessons. My students are so engaged when they are being active learners and it really is so much fun to watch them learn as they play. The materials have helped us create amazing centers that they use daily and having a classroom laminator makes prep time much more effective. We wouldn't be able to have the things we do without your help and support.”

  • Organizing Our Learning Space

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

With your help we now have a nice and neat wardrobe. Everything has a place and spot for east access. It has made a great impact on our classroom projects and day to day routines. It would not have been possible without your support. My students and I are so excited to show it off and be able to know exactly where everything is. It has also made it easier to see how much we have of our supplies and what we need to replenish. I am so grateful for this change in my classroom as it was overwhelming to look for things before. I like knowing that everything is put away nicely and I can get materials out quickly and efficiently.”

  • Building Phonics Centers

    Funded Feb 13, 2022

Thank you for all of your help. Our centers are amazing! The kids love to use them everyday and they have really made an impact in our classroom. With your support we have been able to create phonics centers that meet the needs of my students, and that have helped them build their confidence and the knowledge. They are so engaged and know exactly where everything goes. We appreciate all of your support and can't wait to keep using our daily phonics centers. I hope you know that your support is truly appreciated and that it really helps make an impact in the life of my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lee

From the first day of school these supplies will help create a warm and organized environment for all of my students. The crayons will help my students add life and detail into their pictures. When we write, students are always asked to include as many details as possible into their sentences and on top of that they need a picture that matches the words. Those pictures will only be enhanced through coloring, not to mention the skin tone crayons will give students of any background the ability to see themselves represented in their own drawings. As new first graders we must also learn responsibility by being able to take care of our things and having just the right place to put them. The pencil boxes and folders will helps keep up organized with our supplies and give students the ability to learn about ownership over their things. They will about keeping their stuff safe and in order and how that will help foster their education. The smaller pouches will help us keep our Eagles Chips in a safe place. We will know exactly where to put our hard earned Eagle Chips and have them ready for when it is time to shop at our weekly Eagle Store. Our folders will help keep our desks tidy and make easier to locate work that we haven't finished. We can't wait to fill those boxes up with all the tools that will help us be successful in first grade. Everything from pencils, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, and erasers. Having their own supplies teaches them how to be responsible and also gives all students from different backgrounds the chance to start the year off with the same materials as their peers.
