The possibilities are endless with legos. My students will use LEGO bricks and baseplates to build their STEM skills and their 21st century skills. With weekly competitions they will challenge each other to be creative, critical, determined, expressive, and have teamwork. Also fine motor skills will be refined as they manipulate the bricks to create their designs. With these LEGO materials students will be propelled into the hands-on learning they desire. Currently so many of my students show a strong interest in building and designing just with their daily actions of drawing and constructing. Core standards in language arts, math, science, and social studies will be incorporated into their challenges. It is my goal for these LEGO bricks and baseplates to not only help my students understand their current content lessons, but also build a desire to seek out more learning and growth.
