This project allowed 2 new, plush rugs for our classroom along with a laundry set for our dramatic play space. The children were so excited to get rid of the scratchy, small rug we had in the manipulative space and replace it with this new rug. The second rug was added to our dramatic play space which has a home-like feel to it. The rugs have added more of a home-like feel to the entire classroom and the children are more invited to sit on the floor to play and learn. These rugs were a wonderful addition that will add comfort to my classroom for years to come.”

By having this project funded it has helped me completely reorganize all of materials behind the scenes and what the children use. Having individual baskets allows for self-initiated cleanup and organization between the preschoolers. The baskets fit perfectly on the shelves and are very durable. I am also so grateful for the variety of plastic bins for storage. This allows for easy storage that I can clearly see through. Having a strong sense of organization throughout an early childhood classroom is essential. Thank you for helping me organize!”

My children were amazed when they saw the big boxes that were delivered to our room! They pulled up chairs and watched as I opened up the boxes and showed them our new materials. We use the paint for a variety of activities. One of my favorite ways is at the easel with some inspiration, like the donut pictures you see here. The paint pumps make the usage of the paint gallons much easier and much less messy. This paint will be useful throughout the next year or so while we're busy creating our own masterpieces!”

My children were amazed when they saw the big boxes that were delivered to our room! They pulled up chairs and watched as I opened up the boxes and showed them our new materials. Their favorites have surprisingly been the pretend cleaning kit! I'm not complaining about that! We've also really enjoyed the lemonade kit, which I've expanded with a lemon taste test and making our own fresh squeezed lemonade. YUM! All of the materials given to our classroom through this project will be pulled out and used throughout different times of the year in many ways. I am so thankful to look into my selves and have a variety of activities to provide for my children to support their learning and development.”

My children were amazed when they saw the big boxes that were delivered to our room! They pulled up chairs and watched as I opened up the boxes and showed them our new materials. I allowed them to help me pick put what we tried out first. Of course, the trains, lemonade set and ice cream scoopers were an immediate attraction. All of the materials given to our classroom through this project will be pulled out and used throughout different times of the year in many ways. I am so thankful to look into my selves and have a variety of activities to provide for my children to support their learning and development.”

A fulfillment in my requested items would offer my students a variety of learning experiences. At the beginning of the year I was given some materials and resources to offer the children to support their learning and development. Children need materials switched out often so they can engage with new materials in different ways. Then, when the old stuff is pulled back out, children might explore it in a completely new way!
“Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning… They have to play with what they know to be true in order to find out more, and then they can use what they learn in new forms of play.”~ Fred Rogers
Through the usage of these new materials, children will develop a variety of social-emotional, cognitive, speech and language, and gross and fine motor skills. The developed skills in preschool will assist them in being successful in kindergarten and beyond!
