This is the first year we have had a technology class at my school and our students have been extremely excited about it. I have numerous students who have been experimenting with 3-D design using programs like Tinkercad and Fusion 360 and I would love them to have the opportunity to bring their designs to life using a 3-D printer. 3-D design and printing would allow my students to show off their creativity and design skills in new and engaging ways. Students would be able to design an object using a 3-D design program, such as Tinkercad. We would then be able to print the object using the 3-D printer. Being able to actually print their designs would send their engagement levels through the roof.
