The chalk, sequin beads, buttons, and other materials will help my students apply their knowledge about geography to create maps, landmarks, botany and cultural objects such as necklaces, pillows, and baskets. Students are also free to use their imagination to create unique pieces of art that represents them, also representing science, technology, engineering and math materials. My students ages range from 3 - 5 years old who learn at their own pace through small group and individual presentations, repetition and daily practice with the use of Montessori hands on scientifically made materials. Fostering independence, concentration and creativity will help children become more confident readers and writers.
