My students have been learning how to code through Code.Org, and they are ready to take the next step. These LEGO robots will not only benefit the students in my classroom, but they will also be used in support of my Coder Girlz Club. I lead this club to support the advancement of women in the field of computer science. In this community, students often do not have access to technology in their homes and therefore do not understand the benefits of learning computer science. The addition of these robots to my classroom will go far in helping expose our students to science, mathematics and technology experiences that they would not otherwise have the opportunity to learn from.

About my class
