The trauma that some of our students go through make it difficult to focus on school let alone the lessons that we are trying to present them. My goal this year is to create a calm and welcoming environment with alternative seating threw the different cushion and seats that I have selected as well as the peel and stick sheets, so that the students also have an alternative way to present their work. These things will help to encourage positive behavior and a positive working environment for my students. When students have multiple ways of presenting their work they are more likely to want to participate. Creating an alternative seating environment allows the student to have an option for their learning.
