I have noticed that when I give my students a stress ball or other fidget tool their level of engagement goes up. They are more focused on their learning and able to attend to the tasks at hand. By providing more fidgets to the classroom my students will be able to choose from a wide assortment of fidget tools to support their learning. Many of my students are kinesthetic learners who benefit from being able to move hands, feet, and whole body when they are learning. These fidgets would allow them to be active in a way that is not distracting to their peers.
