I promised my students that I would build a library that would take them to new places and help them experience new adventures. Through hard work and determination, I was able to start building this dream of ours. The students and their families have donated many books but there are still huge gaps that need to be filled. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. My students will have a larger variety of books to explore and continue to develop the love of reading I foster in my classroom. The titles I have chosen, such as The Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series and The Harry Potter Series are student requests. Most of the books on the list are recommendations the children have made to one another. I thank you in advance for the chance to grow my classroom library.
