Color Us Happy
Funded Sep 29, 2022I cannot thank you enough for this amazing donation for our classroom color printer! The students want to create stories now so they can design covers and create pictures to go along with their stories. My students come alive and are more animated. They don't give me a hard time when it comes to writing anymore because they know they will be able to create and print their animations to their story. I really want to get them into writing graphic novels/comic strips next. This will bring their writing to the next level. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”
With gratitude,

Funded Aug 12, 2020I would like to thank my donors for this incredible opportunity in receiving this piece of technology. This Microsoft pro and pen have helped my students in these short few months. I was in-person for only a week this year before I went back remote. The week I had it in school I was able to have them come up one at a time and use the pen to write on the screen and project it to the big smart board. Now that I am back at home remote, it is very helpful as I am able to write on the screen for them to see what it is they need to do.
The most exciting part of this Microsoft pro and pen is that we are able to write on the screen as well as using it as a second device to see m screen as I share my screen with the class.
For the week I was in-person with my class, they were so excited to be able to touch the screen and see their writing appear on the screen. I did want to use this as a central hub for them all to come and share their work with the class. Hopefully if we get back in the classroom I can do this. Thank you so much!”

Mrs. Lowrey
Gift of Learning
Funded Nov 27, 2019These Scholastic magazines are teaching my students about the world. They have learned about the Pilgrims and Thanksgiving. They have also learned about Bats. What they eat, where they like to live, and why they sleep upside down. My students get a kick out of it and are so excited to learn new things and to see the detailed pictures this magazine publishes, it is like they they are there.
Reading in my classroom looks alive. They are smiling and laughing. They share the information they have read with each other. When they are silently reading its because they are taking in all the information they are learning.
There is not one student that is enjoying the magazines, but the whole class. I know this because there is not a time when they are reading that goes by without many students telling me what they read or asking me if what they read is true. They make me laugh sometimes with the questions or comments they come up with.
Thank you again,
Mrs. Lowrey”
