  • Reinventing Learning

    Funded Dec 29, 2020

It has been of great help to have the resources that you sent us. Students have been eager to do hands-on activities and they have been truly engaged. These resources have been of great importance this year because as it is we lack many materials needed in the classroom.

These donations allowed me to give my students more quality of education because I had what I needed and didn't have to borrow things from other teachers. Also, each student was able to have their own resource to themselves, which is very important in this COVID time.

Students were always very excited when they were using the materials and their engagement also went up. These resources also gave students that needed kinesthetics to do more hands-on activities.

Our next steps are to continue to use our materials throughout the school year and make all of the projects fun and engaging.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rosado

  • Literacy Adventure

    Funded Jul 3, 2019

I am thrilled to share with you the excitement my students felt when they first saw the materials that were given to us. Their eyes lit up as soon as they saw they had brand new seat sack where they can keep their own classwork and other needed materials. They loves the special play-dough its one of their favorite literacy center. They look forward to feeling the sand like texture when creating letters.

The dry erase reusable boards are also a fabulous tool that they love to use. Everyone now has the opportunity to have their own board and marker and can participate and practice at their own pace.

We are very happy with your generous donations and I know my students will continue to enjoy using them in many more school activities this year.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rosado

These materials would be of great importance in our classroom. My students are constantly learning how to be an independent scholar. Our current seat sack has been in my room for the past 3 years and most if not all of them are torn. These seat sacks are of great use in building independent scholars that are able to keep their materials at hand when needed. My Kindergarten students are eager to become better writers and spellers and having more markers and dry erase boards gives each child the opportunity to do so. I currently do not have enough materials for students to use their own, most times they have to share. Sharing is caring but my five-year-olds sometimes get impatient when having to wait their turn to write a word or sentence. My wonderful scholars would be more than happy to learn that they will each have their own maker and board during phonics instruction time!
