These materials would be of great importance in our classroom. My students are constantly learning how to be an independent scholar. Our current seat sack has been in my room for the past 3 years and most if not all of them are torn. These seat sacks are of great use in building independent scholars that are able to keep their materials at hand when needed. My Kindergarten students are eager to become better writers and spellers and having more markers and dry erase boards gives each child the opportunity to do so. I currently do not have enough materials for students to use their own, most times they have to share. Sharing is caring but my five-year-olds sometimes get impatient when having to wait their turn to write a word or sentence. My wonderful scholars would be more than happy to learn that they will each have their own maker and board during phonics instruction time!
