Lights, Camera, Action!
Funded Aug 19, 2023I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation to the LFC Drama Department. Your generosity is deeply appreciated by everyone involved in our mission, and your contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of those we teach.
Thanks to your support, we will be able to continue our efforts to provide high quality learning as well as high quality annual play productions. Your donation will allow us to provide our little actors with the materials needed to enhance their learning experience, and ensure that every student in our school has access to the resources they need to thrive. During our time of rehearsals, students were able to build and paint a set for our upcoming performance. They were also able to learn of the different types of lighting for the stage. Some students were even able to operate lighting equipment during the performance.
Your donation is not only a financial contribution but also a vote of confidence in our work. With your support, we are inspired and motivated to continue making a positive impact in the lives of those we teach every day. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and partnership. Once again, thank you for your support. We are deeply grateful for your donation, and we look forward to continuing our work with your help.”
With gratitude,
Ms. N. Washington
Theatre Is Art Reflecting Life
Funded Nov 9, 2019Thank you so much for your generosity and support that you have given my classroom as well as my students. The materials given helped my students in so many ways. My students and I were able to put on a full production this year because of you. The production was well received and successful. The lights brought a certain ambiance to the stage and also added color. The backdrop stand helped to support one the decorated cloth canvases on the stage, so that the audience could see it. What the students enjoyed the most was being able to paint the cloth canvases with the acrylic paint. They had lots of fun using the paint brushes to paint the set of the production. The students were excited to learn how to do stage make up with the face painting make up kit/palette. They used the pencils in class to do assignments/tests as well as sketch out most of the set pieces on stage. All of these materials made it easier for my students to channel their inner creativity and learn new things about theatre. We are forever grateful and touch by your support.”
With gratitude,
