I cannot thank you enough for the generous donation of art supplies to my classroom. This will give us a chance to break away from routine and let each student create works of art they can be proud of.
Thank you again for choosing to support our program. we will send pictures of the final products!”

My class was so excited to open the box's and see all of the supplies we got to help independent living skills. I had not told them what was in the box or what we were going to do, so there was complete surprise.
Learning to sew on buttons and hem clothes was something these students did not know how to do, nor did they think they could learn. Excitement, enthusiasm and doubt were just a few of the emptions. Once we started it was a lot of fun for all!
I had never done this before in class, so it was a pleasure to see how it all worked out.
Thank you so much for the donation of snacks for our classroom. We have used the snacks in various ways. We have been able to provide snacks as students come in too late for breakfast, if they didn't get enough for lunch and is they are just tired and hungry. We even used some pretzels and peanuts for bingo for the kids that didn't want candy!
The students were very excited to see all of the snacks and learn that they were theirs, to eat when needed. They helped open the boxes, count the items and put them away! They thought is was pretty cool!
We will continue to use these snacks for the reasons listed above and anything else that comes up. You have greatly impacted our classroom.”
In our classroom, we use individualized education to help our students learn. As part of this we allow students to doodle and draw during the day. We find it can inspire creativity, engage students academically, and help hold their attention.
Our students were so excited to see the materials that we got. They enjoyed the fact that they all got their own sketch book and pencil. Knowing that they can take these materials out at appropriate times helps them to feel empowered.
The students all draw and doodle differently which makes it fun to see!”

My students were excited for the new classroom supplies, especially the mechanical pencils. The mechanical pencils are something they have requested many times, but unfortunately we haven't had the funds to get them. Our students use these mechanical pencils everyday to do classwork. It relieves the anxiety of getting up to sharpen their pencils. The stress balls were also a big hit! Each student that wanted one has their own to use, which is important during these Covid times.
We as teachers appreciate the new white board markers and the colors that we got. We were down to only black and blue, so now we can go crazy with color!!
Thank you again for your generous donation.
Sincerely,
Ms. Theresa”

Thank you so much for your generous donation of supplies to get us through winter weather and rainy days. My students felt grateful to have the clothing, umbrellas and handwarmers to use. They were excited to unpack and then shelve the items, while talking about when and why they will need them.
It has also been nice to have this supply for students that come in, just needing something clean and warm to wear. We use the umbrellas and raincoats to walk up to our lunchroom, wait at the bus stop and go to jobs and internships.
Thank you again, for showing our students that the community cares about them!”
Our students are 18-21 Special Education students, are low income with not a lot of family support. They walk, take a bus, or are driven to school. They also walk up a hill to get to the lunchroom. Our weather is cold and rainy, so they come to class wet and cold. I would like to provide them with a temporary change of clothes so they are comfortable learning. Giving them each an umbrella will help keep them dry to and from school.
Please help me help them!
Thank you.
