My students LOVE math! After our whole-group math lesson each day, students go off to apply their learning to various activities known as Math Tubs. These tubs include Meet with the Teacher, At your Seat, Technology, Hands-on and Fact Fluency. While I meet with a small group at my table, students independently complete these extension activities. I want to fuel their passion for learning by providing them with math fact practice that is unlike anything they've done before! I am always looking for ways to make math more engaging because I know how much my students truly enjoy this time. Hot Dot pens and flashcards would be an amazing way to make our Fact Fluency tub one of the most desired in our classroom.
