  • 1st grade color printer

    Funded May 3, 2019

    We utilize our color printer almost every day! It has made a whole world of a difference for my special needs students who need visual aids in their school work. To give you a perception, having pictures in color on a worksheet for them is like the difference between reading letters on a paper that are size 10 font and reading letters that are size 18 font and bold. It pops in their brains and they are able to understand basically everything better. They understand leveled stories faster and more in-depth, take tests more efficiently, and understand new concepts in ALL academic subjects. Math has been a big hit with the color printer! We are able to separate counters by color and they understand the concept of part + part = whole, counting on, and subtracting, etc. The first graders absolutely love the color, and it truly added "color" to their world. Thank you for your generous donations and we greatly appreciate it in Class 105!!”

We have technology in this school to pair it with the color printer, but our school, unfortunately, has ran out of funds for technology for a while. Our administration has provided the students and teachers with Google Chromebooks and MacBook airs, and now all we need is a color printer. Please help us fund this important project!
