Due to health concerns, all of our classroom carpets are being removed and replaced with tile. When gathering for lessons, it would be uncomfortable and cold for students to sit on the hard tile. Instead, it would be great to provide them with a comfortable carpet to gather on for our lessons. Students will use the carpet everyday. They will gather on the carpet for class meetings, read alouds and other lessons. They will also use the carpet during individual work time while they read, work in small groups, or use the computer. A classroom carpet would be used and appreciated by my students for many years.
