My students love to read, and I love to see the excitement on their faces when they discover a new engaging book. Many of my students don't have an opportunity to get new books at home, and they love to browse through a new selection of titles in our classroom library. Our classroom has a wide range of reading abilities and having new books at a variety of reading levels will help to keep all students engaged during our Independent Reading time. My hope is to provide multiple texts at many reading levels so that all students have an opportunity to select high-interest texts at their reading level.
