My students use drama to explore Reading, Writing, Science and Math. With the Cricut, we will dive further into using shadow pupptry to explore Science. For example, we will use the machine to create tornados and clouds to find how they interact. In reading, students can design their own characters and show details to build their own stories for presentation and deepen their understanding of story structure, character and other literary elements. The Cricut will allow for greater ability to document our learning and share how we incorporate Standards Based Education by creating amazing displays. Additionally, because my work reaches every student in the building, this machine can be used throughout the building for a variety of informative and decorative functions.
